Clothing items

Clothing in Zero Parades is wearable gear that shifts skill bonuses across seven slots: head, shirt, jacket, pants, shoes, hands, and face. Each piece provides a bonus to one or more skills, making clothing a core part of build optimization. Unlike consumables, clothing is permanent and can be swapped freely outside of checks.

Key clothing pieces: Mister Artista Hair Set (head), Party Wig (head), Silvery Tank Top (shirt), Faux Fur Coat (jacket), Portofiran Hang Jacket (jacket), Vostatok Blendcoat (jacket), Brown Sweatpants (pants), Leather Trousers (pants), Pinstripe Trousers (pants), Space Program Memorial Bottoms (pants), Tenebrous Maxi Skirt (pants), Elegant Black Gloves (hands), UFO Glasses (face), Vaquero Boots (shoes), White-Of-The-Eye Loafers (shoes).

Build tip: Check clothing bonuses before major checks. A single clothing swap can turn a failing check into a passing one. Carry multiple sets for different check types.

Consumables

Consumables are single-use items that trade pressure types or provide temporary effects. They are most useful for managing stress and pushing through difficult checks when your base skills are not quite enough.

Known consumables: Jefa Red & Black Blend, Ouroboros Black, Perro Pale, Rumba! Canned Coffee, Suprema 100s, WiΕ›nia Brand Schnapps, WiΕ›nia Hard Candy.

Usage tip: Do not hoard consumables indefinitely. Use them when a check matters and your stress is already elevated. Early-game Sol is better spent on tools than consumables, but mid-game they become valuable for critical path checks.

Held items

Held items are equippable tools that enable specific checks and interactions. They are permanent and often route-critical. Unlike clothing, held items are not about skill bonuses β€” they unlock capabilities.

Known held items:

Acquisition tip: The Operant Toolkit is obtained at Foto 24. Talk to the receptionist and offer to fix the printer to receive both the screwdriver and Operant Toolkit. Do not sell or discard it β€” it is permanent and required for multiple checks throughout the game.

Key story items

Story items are quest-critical objects that drive the narrative forward. Many are missable if you skip exploration or leave areas too early. Some unlock routes, dialogue, or achievements.

Collection tip: Start tracking Wolf Cups immediately. Some are tied to route-specific choices or locations. Save before major faction decisions if you are aiming for the full set.
